Some bridges ride higher above the surface of the guitar body than others. In order to maintain a proper string height, the neck may need to be tilted back for taller bridges.

Tune-o-matic and wraparound bridges require a tilted neck. If you are using such a bridge on a T- or S-style body, we can tilt the neck pocket so that you do not need to use neck shims to get the correct string height.

We offer tilted neck pockets on our T-, S-style bodies. All LP-style and LPJ-style guitar bodies have tilted neck pockets.
